Our regulator, The Tenant Services Authority (T.S.A.) and the Audit Commission work together to carry out inspections on Housing Associations to review how they deliver services to customers and to make sure they have plans in place to improve services and listen to their customers.
We didn’t want to wait till we were inspected to get a full picture of our performance so we invited the Housing Quality Network (HQN) to visit us and help us practice for inspection. They visited us at the end of 2009 and spent time talking to our employees and some of our customers, as well as visiting our estates and schemes to find out how we deliver our services and where we need to make improvements.
The practice inspection was really valuable as it showed us where we are doing things well and also gave us recommendations to make sure we deliver the best service we can to our customers.
We are now using the results from this along with customer feedback to review the plans we have in place to improve our services and make sure that we continue to listen to you when we prioritise what we do next.
You can use the links below to find out what HQN said we do well, the recommendations they gave us and details about how you can get involved and have your say.
