If the property is a flat you may be responsible for:
- internal decoration
- contents insurance
The Association may be required to:
- keep the building in good structural repair
- insure the building
- maintain the exterior
- decorate, clean and light communal areas (staircases, corridors etc).
You will pay a service charge for these costs. The Association must tell you how the service charge is spent and we will consult you before any major repair maintenance work is done.
