Perhaps it's someone you can rely on to look after the kids for a couple of hours if an emergency crops up?  Someone who never seems to mind giving people a lift to the shops?  Someone who is particularly friendly or helpful towards their neighbours?  Or someone who just generally keeps an eye out for everyone else?

Last year we celebrated 21 Northern Counties nominations at the Residents' Open Day, awarding a winners prize, runner-up and four residents received a special mention. 

This is your opportunity to say thank you for outstanding contributions a resident has made to where you live. 

You can nominate someone for a Northern Counties Good Neighbour Award by telephoning us on 0161 244 7167, complete the on-line form or send us an e-mail telling us the name and address of the person you'd like to nominate and why you think they deserve an award.  Make sure you tell us your name, address and contact numbers and get your entry to us by Wednesday 31st August.
